1. Not medical advice

Our team can explain what a product contains and how people commonly use it. We are not medical professionals and we cannot assess whether a product is right for your health.

2. Speak to a doctor before using supplements if you

• are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding;
• are under 18;
• have a heart, kidney, liver, thyroid or blood-pressure condition, diabetes, or any other ongoing medical condition;
• take prescription medicine, including blood thinners, antidepressants or stimulant medication;
• have a known food allergy (for example to milk, soy, nuts or gluten) or are sensitive to caffeine;
• are due to have surgery.

3. Use as directed

• Read the label on the pack before use and follow the serving size and directions printed by the brand.
• Do not exceed the recommended serving. More is not better, and some ingredients are harmful in excess.
• Pre-workouts and fat burners often contain a lot of caffeine and other stimulants. Check the caffeine per serving, start with a half serving, do not combine them with other caffeine sources, and avoid them late in the day.
• Stop using a product and see a doctor if you have an unusual reaction, such as a rash, palpitations, breathing difficulty or stomach upset that does not settle.
• Store products as the label directs, keep them out of reach of children, and do not use them after the expiry date.

4. Individual results vary

Supplements support a good diet, consistent training and enough sleep. They do not replace any of these. Transformation stories, reviews and before-and-after photos show one person's results. Your results depend on your training, diet, sleep, genetics and consistency, and may differ.

5. Product information on this site

• Product descriptions, nutrition values and ingredients come from the brands. The label on the pack you receive is the final reference. If it differs from this website, follow the label.
• Brands change packaging, flavours and formulas without notice, so the pack you receive may look slightly different from the photo.
• Where a product photo is marked as coming soon, the image is representative. You will receive the genuine, sealed product described.
• We work to keep prices, stock and details accurate. If we find an error after you order, we will contact you before dispatch, and you may cancel for a full refund.

6. If you are a tested athlete

If you compete under NADA, WADA or any federation's anti-doping rules, you are responsible for everything you consume. Check every ingredient against the current prohibited list and prefer products that are third-party tested for sport. We cannot guarantee that any product is free of prohibited substances.

7. Calculators and articles

Our fitness calculators and blog articles give general estimates for education. They are based on standard formulas that do not account for your medical history, so treat the results as a starting point, not a prescription.

8. Links to other websites

Links to brand websites, research or other services are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Fitlexa is not liable for any harm arising from the misuse of a product, use against the label directions, or use without the medical advice recommended above.
